Blackheart Sassafras	One of the most striking and recognizable Tasmanian timbers. The heart of the Sassafras tree has been blackened by natures harshness as this watermark feature only occurs as a result of storms & driving rain.

Blackwood	Tasmania's most recognized furniture timber. The features & colors vary enormously. Blackwood is now the world's favourite musical instrument timber, particularly the "fiddleback" variety.

Celery Top Pine	An absolute favourite of boat builders for generations, this exquisite timber is extremely light yet strong and has amazing outdoor weathering properties, has an amazing silky feel to the touch when finished.

Huon Pine	The most famous of Tasmania's timbers, the birdseye effect in Huon occurs very rarely, and is the most sought after by craftsmen and artisans for its unique beauty. Our Huon stocks are between 500 & 800 years old. A truly timeless treasure.

Leatherwood	Extremely rare and is virtually unknown to even the local woodworkers. This distinctive timber makes a bold statement.

Musk	Traditionally used worldwide for picture framing, Musk can be found in the worlds greatest art galleries. An incredibly slow growing tree, will rarely produce the burl-like timber featured here. Slow drying and careful handling will reward the craftsman with an exquisite, finished piece.

Myrtle	A seductive wood displaying "soft pink" hues through to "deep reds", it is the preferred timber for the discriminating furniture maker.

King Billy Pine	Incalculably rare, equally as beautiful and very light weight, this soft pink timber was the first-rate timber for boat builders many years ago

Tasmanian Oak	Tasmania's best known timber due to availability, an ideal building material & looks great in finished products such as tables and cabinets.

Tiger Myrtle	The Tasmanian Tiger has come to life through this most incredible timber. Tiger Myrtle is so rarely obtainable that many people do not even know of its existence. Unlike its famous namesake, Tiger Myrtle, exists only in the deepest, almost inaccessible temperate rainforests of Western Tasmania.

Golden Wattle	Is the first cousin to Tasmanian Blackwood. A beautifully lightweight and light colored wood to work with.

Veneer	We stock a wide range of Veneer, from Tiger Mrytle to Birds Eye Huon Pine.
